Enjoy a two-hour tutored whisky and food tasting experience featuring Scotch whiskies, each perfectly paired with to Scottish delicacies by Master of the Quaich, Ann Miller, The Dram Queen.
Savour a tasting of four Scotch whiskies, paired with canapé-sized tasters of seasonal delicacies like smoked salmon, venison salami, and local cheese served with oatcakes plus a final sweet treat.
An entertaining and informative experience in Ann’s Dram Room show-casing Scotland’s wonderful food and whiskies as well as their stories.
This experience is an exclusive special event for Visit Moray Speyside’s Restaurant Week on selected dates during November 2024.
- As each dram is tasted, Ann discusses the regions where it is produced, its distinctive features, and relates these to the distillery featured in the tasting.
- She explains each distillery’s different production, distillation and maturation methods and links them to the creation of flavours in the drams.
- Ann shares tasting notes, encouraging you to discover as much as possible in each dram and gain confidence in your capacity to appreciate Scotch whisky as well as explaining her inspiration for each pairing.
Ann is always delighted to answer your questions about Scotch whisky. She is passionate about sharing with you her love for Scotch whisky and Scotland. Join one of her experiences to expand your knowledge, explore flavours and create whisky memories.

Our 2nd Producers Market of 2024 showcasing what’s best of local food and drink. Hosted at Elchies, near Archiestown, you will be able to meet and buy from local suppliers, shop in the farm shop and visit some of the animals reared by Elchies. Kidding will still be underway so there is the added bonus of seeing newborns – or maybe a birth!
Come and try authentic Neapolitan pizzas from Planta pizza van along with a few drams of your choice in the GlenAllachie bar and tasting lounge on Tuesday 11th June.
The GlenAllachie bar and tasting lounge will remain open until 8.30 pm with a selection of whiskies and soft drinks for purchase.
Pizzas will be available to sit in or take away from 5pm to 8pm on Tuesday 11th June. Booking advised but not essential.
